How to use My Patch

The My Patch feature can be found in the tab between Report and data and Dashboard.

You can search the data in three ways:

  1. View properties by stock group
  2. View properties by Housing Provider
  3. View properties by Local Authority area

View properties by stock group

Use the column on the left hand side of the page to select which stock group you would like to view. Once selected look in the box on the right hand side of the page to see the housing providers that have stock within that area.

View properties by Housing Provider

Click on the Properties By Housing Provider tab. Use the box on the left hand side of the page to select the housing provider you would like to view. Once selected, the stock groups in which that housing provider has stock will appear in the right hand column.

View properties by Local Authority area

To view which housing providers are working in which Local Authority areas click the blue button View stock by Local Authority, on the top right hand side of the page

Select the Local Authority area you would like to view from the box on the left hand side of the page. Once selected, you will see a list of all the housing providers which have stock in that Local Authority area. You will see the data displayed in 5 columns:

  • Total
  • General (General needs housing)
  • Older (Housing for older people)
  • Supported (Supported housing)
  • LCHO (Social leased housing, Low Cost Home Ownership/Affordable Home Ownership)

For more informatoin on the definitions, see our article About The My Patch Data.

Please note. When viewing properties by local authority area, this data is not from the Land Registry and is based on the most recent statistical data returns completed by all English private registered providers of social housing.

This data is further broken down into categories; General, Older, Supported and LCHO.
